Be responsible for the Design, planning and scheduling of the Mining operations to ensure the development, ventilation and production targets of the underground operations are met.

This role will involve the management of the Technical services team of engineers and Surveyors including liaising with the Mine Geology department to ensure information is collected in a timely manner.

In addition there is a responsibility to ensure the mine plans and schedules are communicated to the Mine Operations Superintendents, Production and Development coordinators and Underground Supervisors through reports, weekly, monthly and 3 monthly plans and daily meetings.

This position reports directly to the Manager Mining and liaises with the Mine Operations Superintendents to schedule required mining activities.
